EP 013 Starting Over!
In this episode we share story of Lorraine Ladish, writer, publisher and yogini who at the age of 45 found herself divorced, unemployed, broke and in debt, with two young daughters. She was just days from being homeless and forced to feed her children with food stamps and charity as she figured out how to not only start over but to do it in a new country.
Lorraine tells us an inspiring story of navigating her way from deep depression to building a highly successful bilingual digital media company which celebrates Life over 50.. What struck me most about Lorraine’s story was the perseverance and deep self-belief that carried her through. A truly inspiring story.

Thursday Apr 23, 2020
Thursday Apr 23, 2020
NEW PODCAST: In this episode we talk about something that I definitely struggled with for most of my adult life and that was the disease of business. In staying busy all the time and focusing on serving the needs of others we think we are doing everything right because that’s what our culture that rewards. But it has a cost. We often find ourselves burnt out mentally and emotionally, unhappy and maybe even physically sick. We talk about how we reconnect with ourselves and the innate wisdom that lives inside us at a time when we need it most in our lives. Jenna is an ontological coach trained in psychotherapy, a shaman, a Reiki/Energy Healer and Yoga teacher.
This is a juicy conversation all about forgetting and then learning to remember who we are.

Life without Limitation

Joan MacDonald @trainwithjoan is a transformation inspiration for all of us. In her 70’s Joan took her health into her own hands and went from being overweight and unhealthy to a super fit bad ass who mastered her unassisted first pull up at the age of 72. How incredible is that? Recently Joan has appeared in several media outlets as the world catches on to how incredible this woman and her transformation is.
We talk about the limitations we put on ourselves, finding your inner child at any age and staying committed to your goals even when things get tough. Her mantra is you can’t turn back the clock but you can wind it up again. Don’t you love that!! Yes, she changed her body but the most inspiring part was how much her outer transformation has impacted her self-esteem and how she shows up in the world. Joan is a true bright light. I loved our conversation and I hope that you find it as inspiring as I did.

Wednesday Sep 11, 2019
Wednesday Sep 11, 2019
Deb Crowe is a passionate self-care educator who really walks her talk. She’s a coach, author, speaker, and yoga teacher who after seeing first hand how over-stressed women ended up in crisis with disease and disabilities, decided that she had to do something about it.
Learning self-care and what it means to me has been a big learning curve with much experimentation and if I'm honest its still very much work in progress. Deb and I have a fabulous conversation about why prioritizing self-care is so important. What self-care really means – hint: it so much more than bubble baths and facials. We also talk about what spiritual self-care is and why its an important component of every self-care practice.
I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed sharing this conversation with Deb.
